The Truth About Back Pain: A Revolutionary, Individualized Approach to Diagnosing and Healing Back Pain
A Breakthrough Book By
Dr. Todd
Sinett
What is
the REAL truth about back pain? In my opinion, back pain is not
something we can create a "cure-all" for in hopes it will go away for good,
like a case of the flu or a fleeting virus. Rather, back pain is something
we can hopefully prevent, but more likely must learn to manage. And the
truth is, back pain is a reality we will all likely face at one time or
another.
Yet, I did not always think this way. In fact, for the longest time, I thought I could
exercise away the threat by lifting weights, strengthening my abdominals
with crunches (yep those things we now know actually create
back pain) and create muscle balance by stretching. This
idea is just plain false. Although some of these things do
help, I - like a lot of people - woke up one day and found it
difficult to get out of bed.
As the years have passed, and my knowledge of the body has
greatened, I've learned an important lesson. The spine itself
is something that we not only need to treasure, as it is the brains of the
body's main electrical source of nerves, but the spine and its health define
everything about us from our range of movement to the rate of our aging process.

The Fattening Of America - A Review
By Laura M. Turner
Dear
Reader, What are your immediate reactions to these
words: "62 million adults in the United States are
obese. An additional 12.5 million kids are overweight." "Due to increases in the prevalence of
childhood obesity, today's children may not live as long as their parents." "The data suggests that about 70 percent of
diabetes cases in the United States are caused by excess weight." "in 2004 the average American consumed 52
gallons of soft drinks, or an average of 16 ounces per day."
I don't know about you, but just the
viewing of these statistics alone makes me, well, lose my lunch. Where did
I find them? They come from an extremely reliable source: Health economist,
Dr. Eric Finkelstein. These research statistics, and more, are
documented in the new book
The
Fattening Of America: How The Economy Makes Us Fat, If It Matters, and What
to Do About It.
The book itself was written by he and
business journalist, Laurie Zuckerman. And what troubles me most about the
information found within the folds of its pages (besides the nauseating
statistics) are the conclusions I've drawn. Those that have crashed and
burned my own delusions of creating positive change through promoting health
and disease prevention.

Body Signs: From Warning Signs to False Alarms...How to Be Your Own Diagnostic Detective
A Breakthrough Book By: Joan Liebmann-Smith, Ph.D.
And Jacqueline Nardi Egan
What
if you could learn to take charge of your health simply by using the signs
and signals your body gives you? Would you pay attention to them? I am
betting you would. The reality is, our bodies do talk to us - if only we
would take the time to listen.
Authors
Joan Liebmann-Smith, Ph.D., medical sociologist and award-winning
medical writer, and Jacqueline Nardi Egan,
medical journalist, agree that our bodies do speak to us it their
own language. Therefore, they have helped us to decode these signals
in their new book: Body Signs: From Warning Signs To False Alarms... How
To Be Your Own Diagnostic Detective.
More
importantly, their book is not about approaching
our bodies with a frightened sense of hypochondria. Instead, they teach us
how to listen in for the signs and signals that our bodies give us, body
part by body part. All this in effort to help us make the adjustments
we need to make, both to create a healthier body and (hopefully) avoid any
trouble before it manifests itself.

What Readers Are
Saying:
Thank you Laura...
Hi Laura,
I'm one of your newsletter subscribers, and I've been reading about
your book and your journey. I love the wisdom and kindness that you
offer and just wanted to send you an email today to say thank you.
I'm not sure what my heart wants to say, but it's insistent that I
send you a short message of love and encouragement.
I'm so happy to find a kindred
soul, and I want to surround myself with friends like you. I know
there are probably many people who are spiritually mature enough to
search for the good and positive in life, but it feels to me that
you're in short supply. (grin)
I'll be ordering your book as soon as I get money into my paypal or
bank account, and meantime, I'll devour all the material on your
site. The tough part isn't in the ordering or the reading, as you
say, but in putting it to work in my life.
God bless you richly and sweetly
today, and if you ever need a listening ear, or a co-conspirator in
changing the world...feel free to write. I'll be adding links to
your site and book to my sites as quickly as I can.
HUGS
